The first three weeks of Remount Road work:

DAY 22: Monday morning, August 10

Construction on Remount Road and the I-26 West exit ramp continues.

     

The new overpass is nearing completion ...

  

... while the old one is slowly vanishing.

  

DAY 15: Monday morning, August 3

Work on the new Remount overpass is moving forward
as the old overpass is being dismantled in pieces.

        

The old Remount Road heading to the airport is gradually being removed.

     

Work on widening Remount Road and building the I-26 Westbound exit ramp.

  

DAY 1: Monday morning, July 20

Work began with removing the old exit ramp onto Remount Road, with trucks lined up by 7 a.m.  Crews were also busy removing the old sidewalk along the old Remount Road:
