Innovation doesn't just happen. It requires a collaborative partnership that combines vision and integrity, working towards a goal where everyone succeeds.

The project began with a vision from the leadership of the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. They wanted to develop a parking area that could handle those who attend the annual State Fair, Gamecocks football games, and other Fairgrounds events, while incorporating quality approaches to construction quality and aesthetics, as well as protecting the surrounding enviroment.

To fulfill the vision of the Fairgrounds leadership, U.S. Group, Inc. partnered with several engineering firms and suppliers on this project. The project team included B.P. Barber, a well-known engineering firm, Mainline Supply, a South Carolina supplier of storm drainage products, and Advanced Drainage Systems, a firm well-known for the design and manufacturing of innovative stormwater control systems.

This partnership also includes the residents and businesses of the surrounding area who will benefit from reduced stormwater runoff and the hundreds of thousands of people every year who will benefit from the improved parking facilities.
